White Tie Etiquette Wedding Etiquette - White Dress Embroidered With Green?

Wedding Etiquette - white dress embroidered with green? - white tie etiquette

I bought an outfit to wear to the wedding of my friends 'brothers', and now I'm in a panic, whether it is appropriate!

The dress is white, knee length, not fitted or all of the developers, but a lot of green embroidery and thick green belt / girdle around the waist, the relationship on the back. I use it a fascinator with a green bag, green shoes, green and green gems. But now I've read that wearing white is never acceptable for a wedding!

The bride is purple but I'm afraid my dress might not, even though I thought it was just a nice summer dress!

I think it goes well.

I personally do not think the whole thing in white is a bit stupid. It comes in a wedding dress? If not, then it is very difficult, the fact-girlfriend to hide. It's his day, there is competition for attention, no matter what you end users!

Moreover, because she wears the white lilacs is not really a problem anyway ... and went to a wedding and wore a yellow dress. I do not know what the bride wore .... Would he have been what was going on invited if they had chosen the yellow? No, because I was not prepared to do something. I truly believe that all "outshine" is the bride a little wider for the current hardware you chose a good feel for the day.

Best Wishes!

If the bride wear white robes and has a huge green color (which sounds like it works) it should work. It is also a short dress that is more acceptable than a white floor length dress. If you know the bride, why not ask him personally? If it approves, then you have nothing to fear.
